Malu was born and educated in Sheffield. He studied art and design at the Cities Polytechnic Faculty of Cultural Studies in 1988, where the seeds of abstract expressionism were first sewn. His first one-man exhibition was held at the Crucible Theatre in 1983, and since then his work has been shown in many group exhibitions and displays. A series of exhibitions of his work is currently being planned. Malu strives to capture the rustic qualities of nature in his paintings and photography, producing wall designs with an open eye and an individual mind.
